The Canadian Professional Disc Jockey Association (CPDJA) is a not-for-profit corporation that serves the Canadian DJ industry.
The CPDJA is currently operated by a volunteer Executive Committee, an administration staff and overseen by a member-voted volunteer Board of Directors. The CPDJA also has over a dozen volunteer Regional Team Leaders spread out across Canada, responsible for organizing networking nights and educational opportunities for DJs within their regions.
The CPDJA exists to better the Canadian DJ industry by providing networking opportunities, education and support for all DJs. Strongly educated and well-supported DJ entrepreneurs are what contribute to a strong, healthy and vibrant music industry in Canada.
Relationships between the CPDJA and related industry partners are vital to everyones success.
The CPDJA Allied Member Program is designed to help the association fund its ongoing operations and to educate Canadian DJs about the companies that can help them achieve business success.
Allied Memberships with the CPDJA come with a host of features and benefits. There are also a limited number of premium membership packages that include Gold ($1000 + tax), Platinum ($1850 + tax) and Diamond ($4000 + tax). The premium membership packages include within them a series of additional benefits, normally available through additional a-la-carte pricing.
All Allied Membership run for 12 months from date of purchase, pricing is in Canadian dollars and signup and payment is completed online. Details on the various membership packages can be found below. After reviewing the available options, please follow the registration link.

This is for an exclusive (1 only) naming rights partnership between an Allied Member and the popular Canada Wide DJ Call and the CWDJC Replays for 12 months. The Canada Wide DJ Call, in continuous operation since June 2016, has become a flagship part of the education and nationwide networking that the CPDJA provides to the Canadian DJ industry. The CWDJC Replays are recordings of the call, made available exclusively to Professional Members of the CPDJA through a dedicated members only area of the CPDJA website. This Title Sponsor opportunity is being made available to one Allied Member who would like to have their branding tied to the name of the call and the recordings. The “______________ Canada Wide DJ Call” and “______________ CWDJC Replays” will bring unprecedented branding to an already robust Allied Member program for one company or brand that wishes to establish a unique and highly visible relationship with the Canadian DJ community through this special opportunity. This is for naming rights only. Other Allied Members, potentially in competing product categories, may sponsor individual Canada Wide DJ Calls from time to time. |

The CPDJA produces 9 CWDJCs per year. Title sponsorship runs for 12 months.
The Canada Wide DJ Call (CWDJC) is a themed, 2 hour group video call that often features a special guest as well as open discussion. The call is free to attend for both CPDJA members and non-members. The call has been in continuous operation since June 2016 and attracts between 30 and 60 participants per call. Calls are also recorded and permanently archived for viewing within the CWDJC Replays section of the members only area of the website for Professional Members of the CPDJA.
Sponsors of the Canada Wide DJ Call receive recognition through promotional imagery created for the event, mention in the event description (online and in the Weekly News Memo) and sponsors are given a 10 - 15 minute window live, during the call, to discuss their product(s) or services.
$115 + tax per sponsored call.
The CPDJA produces 9 of these calls per year. Availability on a first come, first served basis.
Produced by the Allied Member, meeting specifications supplied by the CPDJA, a banner ad is placed within the emailed CPDJA Weekly News Memo. The banner ad is linked to the default Allied Member website.
The Weekly News Memo is an email bulletin that discusses the ongoing matters of the association including upcoming networking nights, industry news and information, trends in music, and various other features. The Newsletter is sent out every Sunday morning to the entire CPDJA membership.
Banner ad promotions (like the above examples) may be for general brand awareness, new product announcements or any other Allied Member promotional need.
$90 + tax per banner ad.
Availability limited to 12 per calendar year (52 weeks). Banner ads will run for 4 consecutive weeks.
Advertorial for CPDJA Facebook Group |
Written with materials supplied by the Allied Member, a single advertisement is written in the form of an editorial discussing a current or new product or service as selected by the Allied Member. The advertorial is published into the open CPDJA National Facebook group by a member of the CPDJA leadership team and appropriate tagging is done, connecting readers to the social media account(s) of the Allied Member as well as any website URL the Allied Member has requested. The open CPDJA Facebook group (open to both association members and non-members) is the most active Canadian DJ group with a reach of over 1300 users. |
$90 + tax per advertorial. Availability limited to 26 per calendar year, published on a biweekly basis. |
Email Campaign |
An email campaign on behalf of an Allied Member is a one-time email from the association that contains messaging and imagery that an Allied Member wants communicated to the entire CPDJA membership. This exclusive email contains communication of a promotion, product announcement or is part of a general branding awareness campaign on behalf of the Allied Member. There is no other communication included in this email (no association news or other Allied Member mentions); it is exclusively for the Allied Member who has purchased it. The CPDJA treats the time and attention of association members with a great deal of respect and is therefore limiting the messaging of this type to one per month. $175 + tax 12 available, sent once a month. |

The open CPDJA Facebook group (open to both association members and non-members) is the most active Canadian DJ group with a reach of over 1300 users. A branded Facebook cover photo (like the displayed example) may be for general brand awareness, new product announcements or any other Allied Member promotional need. $75 + tax per week. Availability limited to one banner ad per 7 days. |
