APPOINTMENT OF NEW CPDJA REGIONAL TEAM LEADER

The Executive Committee of the Canadian Professional Disc Jockey Association (CPDJA) is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Regional Team Leader (RTL) within the network of CPDJA Regional Management. Regions of the CPDJA are defined as uniquely identifiable areas within Canada where there are a minimum number of CPDJA members. Where local leadership has been appropriately demonstrated, Regional Team Leaders are appointed to act as regional management of the CPDJA in their respective region.

Today, the CPDJA is proud to announce the following newly appointed Regional Team Leader:

Ottawa, Ontario; Regional Team Leader, Martin Pilon

Growing up in a musical family, DJing came naturally to Martin Pilon. In addition to singing in church choirs, Martin also took piano and guitar lessons from a young age and continues to play guitar to this day. In 5th grade, Martin and a friend volunteered to play music from their Sony Walkmans for a school dance. From there, he kept on DJing, but took a break during college. Following college, Martin started again when friends began to get married and asked him to perform at their weddings. Since college, Martin has developed his DJing skills and built up his own mobile entertainment business, MP Entertainment. He focuses on weddings, private parties, and corporate functions, offering DJ, MC, lighting, and photo booth services. In addition to his DJ work, Martin is a Systems Administrator for the local Public Health Unit, husband and father of two.

From all levels of CPDJA management, we can not wait to work more closely with Martin as he takes over from past Ottawa RTL, Steve Bourguignon (newly appointed member of the Executive Committee). The DJs within the Ottawa region will be well served by Martin!
